Thank you for joining Aetna's Workers' Compensation Access Network. We are so glad to have you be part of our network. Your participation will enable injured workers to access quality care in a timely basis. To help make this venture a success, we are maximizing the value of two of our greatest assets, namely Aetna's reporting capabilities and you, our network physicians.

Workers compensation carriers and resellers will work with Aetna to allow workers' compensation claimants access to health care services through the AWCA network. Working closely with them, we will give you tools and resources to reduce the amount of time your practice spends on administrative tasks, giving you more time to devote to your patients.

Aetna is leveraging our resources in new and unique ways. We are combining our vast health resources, tools and technology to deliver a workers' comp product that includes sophisticated data analysis, electronic connectivity, reporting capabilities and strategies. Our network will help create a simpler, more streamlined workers' comp health care system, focused on improving quality of care for injured workers and keeping costs under control for employers. Working together, we can help employees get back to productive employment in a timely and medically appropriate way.

Over the past several years, we, we have made great strides in improving the way we work with you. You can continue to count on Aetna to carry this commitment to service into the workers' comp environment. We are exploring ways to collaborate with all our constituents to deliver solutions to this complex industry by increasing efficiencies and reducing administrative requirements.

Many workers' comp initiatives have already been completed, but this is just the start. Many more are underway. In addition to our current dedicated team of Aetna network employees, we have hired leading industry professionals with expertise in workers' comp and the know-how to apply our existing tools and resources, to the workers' comp environment. For example, the Aetna's Workers' Comp website is just the first step; during 2007, under the guidance of Aetna's Chief Medical Officer, we will continue to build Aetna's education portal with new tools and useful information, and AWCA will be part of this initiative. As the year goes on, we will continue to reach out to you and your staff to create the next generation of workers' comp tools and technology.
